Bandipur National Park, a beautiful region covering an area about 875 sq.km, is part of the Nilgiri biosphere reserve. It is amid the charming surrounding of gigantic Western Ghats mountains in Karnataka. It boasts of an abundance of wildlife as many key species of animals, birds, reptiles, and insects freely live here. Moreover, the park has a very good natural forest with all sorts of trees, herbs, creepers, shrubs, and grass. Bio-reserve has a generous population of tigers.
