Malampuzha, a small township 10 km away from the town of Palakkad, crawled in to the tourism map of Kerala with the construction of an agricultural dam built across the river Bharathappuzha. Malampuzha, set in the natural setting on the foothills of the Western Ghats, showcases a perfect blend of mountains with nature. The charming scenery around the dam makes it a favourite spot for amusements.

The attractions in the site includes the dam- the largest reservoir in Kerala, the garden- the first rock-cut garden in South India, the hanging bridge, statue of Yakshi, rope way, and the snake park.
