Chembra Peak (Chembra mala), located in the district of Wayanad at an altitude of 2100 m, is one of the highest peaks on the Western Ghats. This is a paradise for people who love trekking or hiking. The trekking, approximately 4.5 km distance, to the Peak starts from the base in Meppadi, which is 8 km from the peak. Before reaching the top there is a heart-shaped lake where visitors can take a break and enjoy the serene vista, climate and refreshing freshness of water.
