Aranmula kannadi is a special hand-made metal mirror made in the small town of Aranmula in Kerala.  The secret and craft of making this special mirror are traditionally known to a few Viswakarma families who reside here for the last 250-300 years. They use tin and copper alloy to create this mirror. It requires a lot of hard work and hours of effort to create this hand-crafted mirror.

The speciality of the Aranmula Kannadi is that you cannot see any gap between the object and image in it, where as the ordinary mirrors show a gap between the object and the image. The internationally celebrated Aranmula kannadi is very costly.
